Senior Sales Manager

Job description in a nutshell

  • As our Senior Sales Manager, you will be working as a part of our sales team selling pricing solutions (SaaS) for ecommerce and retail businesses in Europe.
  • In the beginning, your role will be focused on the full new business acquisition funnel – starting from prospecting and booking all the way to closing new customers and CS handover. We’re constantly developing our ways of working so in the future, we might hire separate SDRs or an inside sales team.
  • Growing and building your own pipeline by identifying ideal prospects and building relationships with them by reaching out via LinkedIn, email, phone calls, networks, etc. As of now, our sales process is primarily outbound as the AI-based price optimization market is only emerging but as the market evolves, we’re looking to find the best inbound lead generation channels to support our sales efforts.
  • Giving sales demonstrations to our ideal prospects showing how we address their needs and priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with our leadership to come up with and execute new sales strategies as the company introduces product enhancements and releases new features
  • Consistently meet or exceed your monthly quota

What we expect from you

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales (preferably in SaaS or tech) and a proven track record of positive sales performance
  • Strong people skills. You’re not afraid of giving and receiving open feedback when needed.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills. You’re not afraid to think on your feet to make sure our sales operations are running smoothly.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • You understand what it takes to sell new products in emerging markets. Both our product and target markets are constantly evolving, so being able to keep up with both market and product changes is crucial.
  • Willingness to continuously improve both your own skills and our sales processes and to learn and implement best practices in all sales activities
  • Willingness to understand our ideal customers’ context, goals, and motivations and translate them into
  • Strong written and spoken Finnish and English (our main target geographic market is currently Europe)
